Palm Restaurant at The Hard Rock Hotel Last week, my friend and I decided to visit The Palm Restaurant, located within the Hard Rock Hotel. Complimentary valet parking is available for all Palm Customers. The new facility is reminiscent of the original location on 2nd Avenue in Manhattan, with caricatures of famous and influential customers above the wainscot, throughout the establishment. The Palm is known for its casual backdrop and unprecedented dishes, specializing in Steaks, chops and lobster.. We ordered a half and half, lump crabmeat and a split Gigi West Coast salad in addition to our main course, a 5 pound Lobster. We split the lobster and it was just delicious! It was cooked perfectly, braised with butter and the presentation was gorgeous! The waiter volunteered to pick the lobster for us however, we decided to enjoy the experience. Our well trained waiter could not have been more accommodating. At the end of the meal, our waiter voluntarily credited our 837 club membership. I always find The Palm to be consistently wonderful. and have always looked forward their delicious food and warm hospitality. Why look further? The Palm has atmosphere, a great wait staff, and the best food ever! I give this experience an A++. and I would recommend The Palm to anyone who wants quality food at a fair price. PARK PLAZA GARDENS Along the palm lined sidewalks of Park Avenue in Winter park are lots of shops and restaurants. However, the restaurant that is Park Avenue’s shining star is Park Plaza Garden. The tables’ street side are almost always filled with many interesting regulars. Its sidewalk dining Bistro style, at it’s best. Inside, the bar is also normally filled with Winter Park’s most interesting characters. Intimately tucked away in the back of the restaurant is the most gorgeous formal dining room in the area. Park Plaza Gardens offers a menu consisting of delicious sandwiches, scrumptious salads, beautifully prepared entrée’s. I held a birthday party there recently for my dad. Our parties of seven were seated at an intimate round table in the formal dining room and were waited on by the well trained wait staff at Park Plaza Gardens. The food was marvelous. I had filet mignon avec merlot reduction sauce, julienne vegetables and gourmet mashed potatoes, artistically served, and absolutely delicious. T always order the Endive Salad with blue cheese, slicked apples and sugar coated pecans. The best salad in town! The food is always fresh and great attention to quality of ingredients coupled with a wonderfully talented chef makes this dining experience the crème de la crème of dining in Winter Park and the greater Orlando area. For formal dining, reservations are recommended. So, for an afternoon sidewalk cup of coffee or reasonably priced sandwich with a beautiful view of Park Avenue, drinks with friends, or dinner in the most romantically beautiful dining room in the area, Park Plaza Gardens is the place to visit. The menu is very varied both in price and selection. There is something there for everyone. I just love Park Plaza Gardens and I am not easily impressed.

Also, Bubblou’s specializes in assorted fried foods, pulled pork and chicken, sandwiches too numerous to mention. Everything is cooked fresh. Meats are cooked over a wood burning pit. Catering is available. Today, I order pulled chicken and pulled pork. Both were delicious. However, the pulled chicken was my favorite. Many barbeque sauces are available. Many imported pilsners to choose from as well as sweet tea and soft drinks. The food is reasonable and delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and inviting. There are tables outside for picnic dining. This was a unique and delightful experience and it was a scrumptious lunch. I recommend Bubbalous and give it the highest mark of excellence. I have eaten in this establishment twice recently and both times I ordered Shrimp Tuscana which is a medley of Shrimp. Sun dried Tomatoes, cream. Green peas tossed with white wine, Alfredo sauce over Penne Pasta. It is wonderful. The portions of food are generous and the salads and bread are fresh and tasty as well. The service was excellent and the meal was a value at 15.99. I recommend Barducci’s to everyone. You will be pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of food and the friendly service.

We ordered from the menu a Curried Lamb and Shrimp Korma. Before dinner we were served three aromatic sauces with Crispy bread. The sauces were distinctive in flavor and very tasty. The restaurant was full and because we had no reservations we had to wait a few minutes. But, it was Valentine's night. The wait staff was so friendly and the food was wonderful. The owner showed me the buffet menu which consisted of many dishes. The buffet is available for lunch only and is $8.99. What a value. I am so impressed with this restaurant that I will be returning often. The Mango Ice Cream for desert was just a perfect ending to a delightfully delicious meal.
